French Dip Sliders

Ingredients
  

For the sliders
  • 8 pieces Slider buns
  • 1 pound Roast beef
  • 2 cups Caramelized onions Store-bought or homemade
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup Au jus for dipping
  • 4 tablespoons Butter Melted
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and add the caramelized onions.
  3. Place the bottom halves of the slider buns in a baking dish.
  4. Layer roast beef on the buns, followed by a slice of Swiss cheese and caramelized onions.
  5. Place the top halves of the buns on the sliders.
  6. Brush the tops with melted butter mixed with garlic powder.
Baking
  1. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  2. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until cheese is melted and tops are golden.
Serving
  1. Serve these sliders warm, alongside small bowls of au jus for dipping.

Notes

Leftover sliders can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave until warmed through before serving. For an extra crunch, broil the sliders for a minute or two at the end of baking to crisp up the tops. If you’re short on time, consider using store-bought caramelized onions.
