- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Cook ziti according to package directions until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes.
- Drain the pasta and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the smoked beef for 5 to 7 minutes until browned.
- Drain excess fat if needed.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in the Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer the sauce mixture for 2 minutes.
- Add the cooked ziti to the skillet and toss until evenly coated.
- Transfer the pasta mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
Assemble the casserole ahead of time and refrigerate up to 24 hours before baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days. Reheat with a splash of milk to restore creaminess. Freeze for up to 2 months after cooling completely. Penne, rigatoni, or rotini can replace ziti. Homemade Alfredo sauce can be used instead of jarred sauce.
