Method
- Mix grated cheese with finely grated garlic, black pepper powder, and oregano.
- Spread the cheese mixture evenly onto the bread slices.
- Heat a pan with olive oil over medium heat and place the bread slices on the pan.
- Cook until the cheese melts and the bread turns crispy.
- Add ketchup and sprinkle red chilli flakes over the bread if desired.
- Slice the onion, tomato, capsicum, and shred the cabbage and chicken.
- Heat olive oil in another pan and sauté the onion first.
- Add tomato, capsicum, cabbage, and shredded chicken.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and honey. Sauté lightly until combined.
- Place the chicken filling onto one cheesy bread slice and top with another slice to form a sandwich.
- Serve hot.
Notes
Use mozzarella cheese for extra stretchiness. Add extra vegetables if desired. Store leftover filling in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Serve with fries, soup, or salad for a full dinner meal.
